Leta is in beta. Builds go out to testers by email while the first public release is prepared. Ask, and you’ll get the installer and a license for the beta.

What testers get
- The installer, or a portable zip that runs from any folder
- Every feature, with nothing held back
- New builds as they’re ready, each with its release notes shown on first start
- File > Report a Problem, which writes a report you can read before you send it
Found something wrong? The report holds the build, the computer and the last things Leta did. Nothing leaves your computer unless you send it.
What Leta needs

Installing
Run the installer normally and Leta installs for you alone, in your own folder, with no administrator prompt. Run it as an administrator and it installs for everybody who uses the computer. The portable zip is the same files with nothing registered: unpack it anywhere and run leta.exe.
Leta isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn the first time you run the installer. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
For IT: a silent install
Leta-Setup-0.6.0.exe /S /D=C:\Program Files\Leta, with /NOSHORTCUTS and /NOASSOC if you want them. Uninstalling removes only what the installer put there, never a part someone saved.
Built on open source
Leta’s geometry kernel is Open CASCADE Technology 7.9.3, used unmodified under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1 with the Open CASCADE exception. Its interface is drawn with Dear ImGui (MIT license). The license texts ship with every release.
