Leta - third-party notices

Leta is built on the components below. This file ships with every release; the
obligations it records are the reason it does.


Open CASCADE Technology (OCCT) 7.9.3

Leta makes use of facilities provided by the Open CASCADE Technology software.
OCCT is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1, with
the Open CASCADE exception (version 1.0) that its authors attach to it. The full
texts of both are included in this release, in the "licences" folder, as
OCCT-LICENSE_LGPL_21.txt and OCCT_LGPL_EXCEPTION.txt.

OCCT is used unmodified and is linked dynamically: the TK*.dll files beside
leta.exe are Open CASCADE's, and Leta calls into them. leta.exe also contains
code generated from OCCT's header files (templates and inline functions), which
the Open CASCADE exception allows to be distributed under terms of Leta's
choosing. No OCCT source has been changed.

As the LGPL requires, you may replace those DLLs with your own build of OCCT:
build OCCT 7.9.3 from the source published at the address above and put the
resulting TK*.dll files in the Leta folder in place of the ones shipped. You may
modify OCCT for your own use and reverse-engineer Leta as far as is needed to
debug such modifications; nothing in Leta's licence agreement restricts that.

For three years from the date you received this release, a copy of the exact
OCCT source used to build these libraries will be supplied to you on request, for
no more than the cost of supplying it. Ask at the address in README.txt.

Microsoft Windows components
----------------------------
Leta uses parts of the operating system it runs on, and redistributes none of
them:

  * Cryptography API: Next Generation (bcrypt.dll) - every hash, cipher,
    signature and random number in Leta's licensing and file protection.
  * The Compression API (cabinet.dll) - the installer's payload.
  * OpenGL 3.3, through the graphics driver installed on the machine.
  * The Segoe UI typeface, loaded at run time from C:\Windows\Fonts. It is part
    of Windows and is not included in this release.
