Evaluation

Start the 30-day evaluation

Leta starts its evaluation itself: open File › License and press Start 30-Day Evaluation. On a computer with no internet connection, start it here instead, from any computer that has one.

  1. Copy the machine codeOn the computer Leta is installed on, open File › License and press Copy Machine Code. Bring it here: a text file on a USB stick, or an email to yourself.
  2. Paste it herePaste the code into the box and press Get the Evaluation License. A small license file downloads.
  3. Open the file in LetaBack on that computer, open File › License and press Open License File. The evaluation runs for 30 days with every feature.

One evaluation per computer. Asking again, even after Leta is reinstalled, gives back the same one. The machine code is made of hashes of this computer’s identifiers and names nothing else; see Privacy for what is kept.
