Another similar tool is a hatch as it's called in AutoCAD, basically a fill that can be applied in different colors within a drawing sketch.
Thank you for the feedback, I'll be adding the part appearance drawing views to the next release.
The hatching currently exists, but is only applied to section views, and cannot be customized. I will be adding custom hatching to the next release, and the ability to apply it to selected closed profiles. Here is a preview.
