When sketching in any file type, lines cannot be changed to construction mode. Right clicking on specific lines could generate different line options such as construction mode, line weights, line colors, perhaps line type (mid point line or regular).

Hey Taylor, thanks for the feedback.
Construction mode - You can change any sketch entity to construction mode via the right click menu. I recently made a change to the right click menu - You have to hold right click for more than 0.25 seconds for the menu to appear. A quick right click will cycle all the highlighted entities behind the cursor so you can selected items that may be behind other items.. However this behavior was unintentionally applied to the sketch mode as well, where it is not needed. I will revert that part of the change. That being said, your right click menu is still available and you can use to to switch any sketch entity to construction.
You can also create centerlines. If you create a dimension from an entity to a centerline, you can place the dimension on the opposite side of the centerline to dimension the entity to it's mirrored position.
Line Style options - Per your feedback, I am incorporating a line style editing function into drawing mode on the next release.
I'm not sure what you mean by midpoint line, can you elaborate? You can currently constrain entities to the midpoint of a selected line with the midpoint constraint
Right on! I was mistaken on the midpoint line type; any line already has a mid-point constraint.
- Maybe an option to remove the midpoint constraint would be helpful?
- There is a midpoint sketch line type option in SW I am also fond of.
I took a look at that midpoint line you're referring to, yeah I can add that, that looks awesome. That doesn't exist in the CAD I use professionally.
